Feeling hurt, the rope left. Later, angry about the unfair treatment, he tied himself up and pulled his ends apart until they were messy and poofy.
Back at the bar, the bartender squinted. “Aren’t you a rope?” The rope replied, “No — I’m a frayed knot.”
